Brief: Elanders Q3 EBITDA rises 70 pct, looking for acquisitions

Oct 22 (Reuters) - Elanders  ELANb.ST  
    * Q3 net sales increased by 19% and amounted to MSEK 1,041 
(871). 
    * Q3 operating result before depreciation (ebitda) increased 
to MSEK 95 (56) 
    * Says intend to further grow Supply Chain Solutions  
    * Says looking for businesses that can complement the 
existing operations, primarily in companies with a strong base 
in Europe or North America and whose customers can grow with the 
company in Asia 
    * Says organic sales contracted by nearly six percent in the 
business area Print & Packaging during the first nine months, 
partly due to structural changes in the industry but also 
conscious effort to trim down the operations  
    * Says a drop in production in mining and civil engineering, 
particularly in North and South America, also affected sales 
negatively
